Design Partner Invitation: BoardReadyOps Early Access Program

Cohort: Beta Hardware Teams (KiCad + GitHub) Positioning: The trust layer between KiCad commits and manufacturing release.

1. Context & Purpose

This template is used to invite selected professional hardware teams into the 90-day BoardReadyOps Design Partner Program.

Important Operational Guardrail: This is a template for prospective partner outreach. Do not claim active partnerships or revenue until formal design partner agreements are executed.

Subject: Early Access: Automated PR review & release gate for your KiCad repositories

Hi [First Name],

I noticed that [Company Name] is building innovative hardware using KiCad and GitHub.

One of the most frustrating bottlenecks in hardware engineering is ordering a PCB spin only to discover a preventable manufacturing defect—a swapped MPN, a missing polarity marker, or stale Gerber exports.

We built BoardReadyOps to eliminate this: 1. Pull Request Change Impact: Automatically summarizes what changed on a PR (schematic, PCB, BOM, manufacturing outputs) and highlights risk direction before merging. 2. Fabrication Readiness Scoring: Evaluates your project against fabricator profiles (JLCPCB, PCBWay, OSH Park) with clear 0–100 readiness scores. 3. 100% Local-First / Private: Runs inside your own GitHub Actions runners. Your schematics, layouts, and IP never touch our servers.

We are selecting 5 hardware engineering teams for our Design Partner Program: - What you get: Free white-glove setup in your GitHub repositories, direct access to the core engineering team, and custom rule development for your manufacturing stack. - What we ask: 30 minutes of bi-weekly feedback on PR review comments and release gate findings over 90 days.

Are you available for a brief 15-minute walkthrough this Thursday or Friday?

Best regards,
